This fully equipped apartment, with an airy studio ambience & traditional character, has sleeping accommodation for up to 7 persons. but it is ideally suited for groups of 2–5 people. The bedroom has double queen size bed & a pair of bunk beds (sleeps 4) while the studio living room has a double sofa bed & a divan (sleeps 3).

Bed linen & towels are provided at the additional cost of £15.00 per person per week & this is payable in advance along with the rental fees.  Beds will be made up to your requirements by our Chamonix agents prior to clients arrival.

The bedroom has French windows opening out onto the balcony which overlooks the garden & with spectacular mountain views.

The apartment also has a bathroom, with a bath & a shower. There is a separate WC off the corridor leading to the front door.

The access stairway is regrettably not suitable for people in wheel chairs.

There is a basement cellar, which is available for the storage of skis, golf clubs, bicycles & mountaineering equipment.  Clients are requested not to leave skis, boots and other equipment on the landing out side the front door of the apartment.

We have tried to provide everything that a family or group might need during their stay, these things include: Clothes dryers, iron & ironing board, wardrobe & hangers, tools for minor ski repair, maps of the area, tourist information and recommendations, a visitors book full of hints & tips from previous clients, plenty of kitchen utensils, crockery & glasses, coffee filter machine & kettle, electric Hoover, radio cassette recorder, adult & children's board games and puzzles and a children's swing that can be rigged from the beam in the living room!

There is a private driveway into the garden on the East Side of the chalet. Clients are free to park in the drive area though it has become customary for residents to park in the free public parking area on the West Side of the building. Clients may also use the private garden, which is a communal area shared with the residents of the other 7 apartments in the building. The area is suitable for children to play in & for barbecues or picnics.   Parents with very young children will need to supervise them in the garden, as there is access out onto the road .  While the garden is in full view from the apartment's balcony, the access out onto the road is not.

There is a post office, a number of small shops, restaurants and bars within 2 minutes walk of the apartment in the village centre of Les Praz, these can supply fresh bread and milk daily along with the majority of other needs. There are also a number of small supermarkets in Chamonix as well as others in the villages of Argentière, Les Pélerins & Les Houches.


Smoking is not permitted within the apartment under any circumstances.
