This Chamonix apartment (502M) is situated on the second floor of a former Chalet hotel property, Le Chalet du Lac, opposite Chamonix golf club and just 100m from the nearest ski lift at La Flegere. This is a South-facing chalet apartment of traditional French ski chalet character in the very picturesque village of Les Praz & only 1.5km from Chamonix town center. There are restaurants, bars & necessary shops within 2 minutes walking distance of the chalet apartment & there are many places to visit in this region of France, Haute Savoie.This fully equipped self catering apartment accommodation, with an airy studio ambiance, has accommodation for up to 7 persons with double bed, bunk beds, double sofa bed & a divan but it is ideally suited for groups of between 2 & 5 people. The apartment enjoys spectacular views, from the picture windows & balcony, of the Les Drus & Europe's highest mountain, Mont-Blanc (4807m). The balcony is a massive 22ft (6.6m) long making it a marvellous place to relax with friends & soak up the atmosphere of the spectacular mountain scenery & Chamonix valley. There is use of the private garden behind the chalet as well as a cellar for storing skis, mountain bikes or golf clubs. There is private parking situated to the rear of the chalet in the garden.
Terms: The apartment is normally available on a weekly basis but maybe rented on a daily basis. Weeks run from Saturday to Saturday, arriving no earlier than 1200 and vacating before 1000 on the day of departure. Prices charged are between £400 & £700 per week depending on the season & irrespective of the number of persons in the party. There are premium rates for Christmas, New Year & Easter. Accepting that some clients may have requirements for lets other than Saturday to Saturday then the apartment can be rented on a daily basis @ £135 per night with a minimum charge of £405 (3 nights). Please contact the owners to confirm a price. There is a small additional service charge of £25 per person to cover our Chamonix agents services, bed linen & towels supply, making up the beds to your requirements prior to your arrival, linen laundry on your departure & emergency call out if necessary during your stay.

There are not many places in the world where you can you ski 3000 vertical meters, but you can here in Chamonix. Ski from Europe's highest cable car station down the world famous 22 km long Vallee Blanche.
The local ski lift pass, Cham'Ski, covers 5 separate ski areas within the valley, connected by a free bus service.
The town of Chamonix has a huge variety of restaurants, bars and nightclubs and is well known for its nightlife.
Only one hour from Geneva airport getting there by air is simple & by car you will find auto routes all the way to Chamonix.
